Great overall mountain, and one of the least corporate. Summit Six is one of the sickest chairs in all of North Lake Tahoe, but it's often closed when big storms are coming through. Alpine Meadows
Only goes off in the Fall and Winter, Hag's offers a great wave but gets super crowded when there is swell. If you are beginner, better to look elsewhere. Haggertys
Great surf spot, but the crowds are a little tough to deal with. Though, when other spots in Central LA are closing out, this is a much better bet. Topanga
