Tony Hawk is being recognized for his work with the Tony Hawk Foundation, which has given away over $2.3 million to help fund 390 skateparks across the United States.

"I'm happy and excited to be given the Stoked Achievement Award. The work of the Tony Hawk Foundation, as well as the opportunities that Stoked is giving kids through action sports to make them more successful, is something that we need more of."

The Stoked Awards celebrates individuals that embody Stoked Mentoring's mission to “Develop Successful Teens through Opportunity Knowledge Experience and Determination.” The evening will be attended by over 300 people in the world of action sports, media, and entertainment and will include a silent aucion in addition to music by DJ Christopher Sealey.
