2008 Xcel Pro Final Results and Video Highlights
Haleiwa, HI (November 7, 2008):
The 2008 Xcel Pro finals wrapped up yesterday and Pancho Sullivan walked away with the title in super clean 6 to 8 foot waves at Sunset Beach. Pancho Sullivan, who currently sits at number 39 on the ASP World Tour, decided to forgo the Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro to compete in the Xcel Pro held at his local break. As a result, Sullivan ended up winning the event for the fourth time by beating out three others in an all Hawaiian final.
"It was a fun, amazing final," said Sullivan. "The best final ever here, and such an honor to win the 25th anniversary Xcel Pro."
