2008 Reef Hawaiian Pro Day 1 On Hold

Haleiwa, HI (November 12, 2008):

The 2008 Reef Hawaiian Pro was expected to get started this morning at Haleiwa’s Ali’i Beach Park on the North Shore of Oahu. Contest organizers postponed the start of the contest and will meet again tomorrow to decide if it's a go. The event, which is a 6-star ASP WQS event, will feature over 200 of the world's top surfers as they compete for $170,000 and more importantly ratings points to qualify for the 2009 ASP World Tour.
