Stand Up for Skateparks in Beverly Hills Raises $1 Million

Beverly Hills, CA (November 13, 2008):

The celebrity studded 5th Annual Stand Up for Skateparks fund raiser took place this past weekend in Beverly Hills, CA. Celebrities from the world of action sports and entertainment packed the venue in Beverly Hills to raise over $1 million for the Tony Hawk Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is to bring free, quality skateparks to low income communities in the U.S. On hand for the event were Tony Hawk and Shaun White as well as musicians Anthony Kiedis from the Chili Peppers, Perry Ferrell, and many more.
