Pretty sick mountain that has a great base. The park is killer and the added bonus is that it's close to Reno, so you can gamble all you want and then hit the slopes during the day... Mt. Rose
Pretty amazing surf break and shouldn't be missed. Super crowded most of the time, and if you are just learning may be better to go just North or South. The added bonus is that the horse races are going on right nearby during the summer months which are pretty killer too. 15th Street
Pretty killer overall camp, and a good place to refine your freestyle skills Camp of Champions
Insane mountain that offers some of the most snow and best back country riding around. Don't miss it, but do be careful after big dumps given the avalanche danger. Mt. Baker
