Canada is a huge and diverse country spanning the entire northern border of the United States from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean. Its northern climate is renowned for picking up tons of snow and long ski seasons including a few glaciers that can be ridden during the summer months. The mountains with the highest elevations and biggest reputations are generally located in the west, although there are some real contenders in the eastern provinces as well. Canada is home to some of the best ski resorts in the world and being such a large country there is almost certainly something for everyone.
Manitoba:
The ski resorts in Manitoba are pretty small in comparison to the other mountains in Canada, but there are a few and the locals charge them hard.
Snow: Light, but windblown and cold.
