Hit the slopes by day and the casinos by night! Bordering the California-Nevada state line, the Reno-Lake Tahoe region boasts of the greatest concentration of ski resorts in North America. You’ll have to catch up on your beauty sleep on your trip home because the snow here is light and powdery, the resorts are plentiful, and the casinos are open all night. If you prefer the bright lights of the Vegas Strip, you can tear it up at the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort in Lee Canyon, about 40 miles north of Vegas.

Most Nevada resorts are boarder-friendly, especially the Lake Tahoe resorts which offer challenging terrain, the latest jumps, pipes, and rails among other park features.
