Heliboarding originated in Chile from the initiative of Frenchman Beb Echene.
A pro-rider himself, he introduced the snowboard in Chile in 1989. As the Director of the Valle Nevado snowboard school from 1991 to 2002, Beb Echene started the Heliboarding company by opening the first tracks in the central area of the Andes cordillera. He then became the first heliski/boarding's guide in Chile to initiate worldwide drops passionates and snowboarding professionals to the fabulous rides of the imposing Andes cordillera.

His eleven years of experience as the guide leader and manager of the Heliboarding Valle Nevado's resort, in addition to the creation of his first Heliski/boarding Company in the Chileans Andes in 2003, turned him into the most experienced and skilled guide to date within the Heliski/Boarding trips organization.

Beb Echene now brings his experience and professionalim under the Andes Heliboarding name and offers the best runs and first class service on the majestic Andes cordillera.
