First off, Rhode Island in not an island. It is the smallest state of all the United States with a beautiful coastline of rocky beaches and running right down the middle of the state is Narraganstt Bay. Where there’s surf there are surfers and Rhode Island has it’s share of local crews that are just as protective of their respective surf spots as anywhere in the world. Compared to the US West Coast the crowds are small but this in not Cali and the confluence of mild weather conditions, comfortable water temperatures and good waves are very rare and closely coveted. Get some cold water wax, make sure you have enough neoprene on and take some respect out with you. |
