South Brazil//
Brazil is abundantly blessed with tropical islands, lush rain forests, beautiful people and long stretches of empty and unspoiled beaches. Most famous for Carnival and devotion to soccer, Brazil boasts of a rich and vibrant culture and a people who love to work hard, play hard and party even harder.

Five thousand miles of coastline provides an endless supply of pristine beaches (many adorned by exquisite sun-kissed bodies). The surf in Brazil is plentiful, super consistent and often underrated. April through October are the best months to surf but great conditions can be had year round. Florianopolis is considered to be the surf capital of Brazil but some will argue that the island of Fernando de Noronha pumps out far superior waves. Surfing has gained a lot of popularity in Brazil and often results in crowded breaks at stand out surf spots. With so much variety in waves and quantity of breaks, there’s no reason to fight the crowds! Go find your own perfect wave in Brazil!

Health: It's probably wise to avoid food and open container drinks from the streets. Vaccinations and precautionary measures against hepatitis, rabies, malaria, henta virus, cholera, dengue fever, yellow fever and Bubonic plague are recommended. HIV is a big problem in Brazil so always use protection.

Health: Believe the hype and don't be surprised if you get robbed or mugged. Don't be flashy, always travel light (especially to beaches), don't travel alone at night, stay in group settings and use common sense when visiting Brazil.
